Bergamot and lemon create the initial brightness (that golden quality), while lavender and geranium soften it into something almost herbal. We tested this one extensively through spring and summer; the tonka bean is what makes it sing. Rather than turning the base sugary or vanilla-forward, it adds a creamy warmth that feels skin-like—as if the fragrance is amplifying your natural scent rather than replacing it. The soft woods arrive late, grounding the sweetness. Wearing this feels less like putting on fragrance and more like stepping into the right light.

Tonka bean is a tricky note in alcohol-based formulas—it can read either as candy or as genuine warmth depending on concentration. Our ratio here keeps it supporting rather than leading; the lavender and geranium hold primary character, and the tonka simply enriches the base. Bergamot and lemon are your openers (strongest for about 20 minutes), and they're intentionally bright to prevent the composition from feeling heavy in daylight. The patchouli underneath is subtle, almost muted, there only to add texture. What makes this one different from mass-market warm sprays is the restraint; it doesn't try to be everything.
