Midnight Lounge No. 9 - Body Fragrance Spray

Late night, the kind of quiet that only happens after 11 PM, when the world has mostly gone to sleep and what's left feels intimate and unhurried. Midnight Lounge No. 9 is that atmosphere made fragrance. Lemon opens it (bright, almost tart, cutting through any heaviness), but that's just the prelude. The real composition is spiced bourbon, tobacco leaves treated warm and almost vanilla-like, cedarwood that feels aged and sophisticated, and a patchouli base that's green rather than earthy. We wore this through entire evenings during development; what kept surprising us was how it deepened as the night wore on, how each hour revealed something new. Wearing this feels like settling into a leather chair with a book you've been meaning to finish—intentional, considered, entirely self-directed.

The challenge here was making tobacco smell genuinely sophisticated rather than smoky or costume-like. We achieved it by pairing the tobacco with spiced bourbon notes and allowing the cedarwood to do most of the grounding work. The alcohol concentration is formulated to let that bright lemon opening settle quickly (by minute 12 or so), which might seem counterintuitive, but it allows the bourbon and tobacco to feel like the main event rather than background. The patchouli is subtle and green, there only to add earthiness without weight. Vanilla threads through the base but never reads as sweet. Apply this in the evening to your neck or chest—evening fragrances generally sit better on warm skin. You'll notice the lemon fades by early evening, the bourbon and tobacco settle into something almost like leather by hour three, and the whole composition holds without becoming stale. This is a fragrance that actually improves with time on skin.
