Crimson Ember No. 4 - Body Fragrance Spray

The first impression is crisp and polished. Bergamot and lemon cut through the air with a clean brightness before sage and lavender settle in, giving the fragrance a calm confidence rather than an aggressive edge. We spent quite a bit of time wearing this one before adding it to the collection, and what stood out most was how naturally it transitions from fresh citrus into a richer blend of cedar and mahogany. It feels like a well-tailored jacket that has been broken in over time—refined and quietly memorable—the kind of fragrance that feels comfortable without trying. The amber and musk linger long after the brighter notes fade, leaving behind a warm, masculine finish that never feels heavy.

Our fragrance sprays are alcohol-based because we find they provide a cleaner scent throw and allow the top notes to open more quickly on the skin. In testing, the bergamot and lemon are most noticeable during the first few minutes, while the cedar, mahogany, amber, and musk become more prominent as the fragrance settles. Unlike many mass-market body sprays that rely on an overpowering burst of fragrance, this composition develops gradually throughout wear. A few sprays on pulse points or clothing are usually enough to carry the scent for hours, with the woody base notes providing much of its staying power.
